Her First Easter

Binky vs. Passie

So, is it a binky or a passie?  Hummm... This is our first debate over family terminology.

Millie Meets Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Jack

Amelia loves her aunt Rebecca and uncle Jack!  We had such a wonderful time visiting with the McGuires last weekend.  Aunt Rebecca has a magical touch with little Millie May.  She can make her forget all about her upset tummy.  (We switched reflux medicine the day aunt and uncle left, and Amelia is having a little better time now.  How we love ABC Pediatrics already!)

Our Favorite Couch Potato

Almost 1 week old, and still quite the adorable little loaf.  She doesn't do much, but she sure looks good doing it.

A Star is Born: Amelia's First Video

We love these little noises and motions.  She loves to give some "power to the people" above her head with her right arm.

Settling In

We are starting to learn Amelia's routine.  Sleep, eat, poop, begin diaper change, pee over diaper changing area, clean up, and start over agin. She's is probably figured out our routine as well... make funny faces, take pictures, and lots of rocking me in their arms.

Yesterday was doctor day.  She has a clean bill of health and is almost back to her birth weight already.   We also took our first walk.  She slept the whole time, but it was nice for us to get some fresh air.

Home Sweet Home

PHEW!  We made it home yesterday afternoon.  Lots of eating going on now and thats about it.  We thought we would get some work done and maybe even a little sleep... NOT GONNA HAPPEN.  Actually, thanks to the Carter grandparents, we had a lovely meal and a few hours of sleep.  Love is all around.

Amelia Meets Her Mommy

Our little girl, Amelia May Kaiser, greeted the world on March 5, 2013 at 7:45 pm. After 16 hours of labor, she popped out like a happy little quite cork.  She weighed 6 lbs 8 oz and was 19.25 inches long.  We have yet to hear her voice for longer than a couple seconds.  She is incredibly relaxed, sweet and beautiful, but we are most grateful that she is healthy.

This is the place to find pictures galore, stay tuned for more.
